How to Enter
All submissions go through our standard project submission page. Here's what to do:
Design your model
Create a 3D-printable resource for ultrasound — a teaching phantom, cart accessory, probe holder, workflow tool, or anything else that solves a real problem.
Submit through the project page
Use our standard submission form. Include a clear description of what your model does and how it's used.
Make it print-ready
Ensure your files are clean and printable on commonly available equipment — FDM or resin. Keep it accessible — not everyone has a high-end machine.
Submit before the deadline
All submissions received before the closing date are considered. Multiple entries are welcome.
Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated across five areas:
Practical Value
How meaningfully does this model improve ultrasound practice — whether for teaching, workflow, or everyday clinical use?
Usability
Is it practical, intuitive, and easy to implement in a real clinical or educational setting?
Printability
Can it be reliably printed by educators and makers on commonly available equipment — FDM or resin?
Accessibility
Does it minimize cost and complexity so anyone, anywhere can use it?
Creativity
Does the design bring something fresh or innovative to the field?
Eligibility
- ✓Open to clinicians, educators, trainees, and makers worldwide
- ✓Submissions must be original work
- ✓Multiple submissions are welcome
- ✓All submissions received before the deadline will be considered
Your model joins the commons
All submitted models become part of the POCUS Collective's free, open library — available to clinicians, educators, and makers everywhere. You're not just entering a challenge; you're contributing to a resource that will outlast it. By submitting, you agree your model may be freely downloaded and used by the community.
